Attachment 2537Quietly released by Chaosium on Wednesday, Cthulhu by Gaslight sees its 3rd edition after a near quarter century hiatus.

As the name suggests, Cthulhu by Gaslight is a Call of Cthulhu supplement that allows for roleplaying in the world of 1890s England. The first and second editions appeared in 1986 and 1988 respectively and so it's a welcome sight to see the release of a new edition in

Five Years of "Horror on the Orient Express" (Audio Game)

Yog-Sothoth - Wed, 01/25/2012 - 17:11
Attachment 2458Today, (25th January) marks the fifth anniversary of the beginning of the Innsmouth House Players' idiosyncratic version of Horror on the Orient Express.

In actual fact we started with Randy McCall's The Auction - a "one-nighter" that ran to four sessions, providing an indicator of just how long it would take the group to play through the campaign (along with the odd shopping stop and restaurant visit).

Author: Jeff Moeller
Art: Divers Hands
Publisher: Chaosium Inc. MULA Monograph 0403, October 2011.

Review by: G. Roby

The monograph is 137 pages in total and is divided into the "sourcebook" part (page 22-41) and the rest. No appendix or extra handout-pages added: the 4th scenario ends on page 137. It is one big scenario - you can play just the first scenario, but I would call the book one big scenario. The author

Dragonmeet Recordings: 2011

Yog-Sothoth - Tue, 11/29/2011 - 13:05

Attachment 2243Today (13th November) marks the 30th anniversary of Chaosium's seminal roleplaying game of Lovecraftian investigation.

During that time this multi-award winning game has enchanted and entertained countless thousands, which it continues to do to this day. For an RPG that is nominatively in its 6th edition the game has stayed remarkably consistent over three decades (which is something few others can attest to).
